Mitch McConnell

Background

McConnell is a Republican U.S. senator from Kentucky, but he is not a candidate in the November 3, 2026 general election: he announced he would not seek reelection, and the Kentucky Secretary of State’s 2026 filing list names other candidates for the Senate seat. His official Senate website is not a campaign website for a 2026 candidacy.
