Murray State University said it formally recognized a partnership with McCracken County Public School District on Oct. 12 at McCracken County High School, establishing the McCracken County Racer Academy, which launched in August 2026.
Under the partnership, Murray State will offer in-person dual-credit courses in core academic subjects to college-bound students attending McCracken County High School, according to the university. The courses allow students to earn high school and college credit while taking college-level coursework, the announcement said.
Murray State said its faculty will teach the courses at the high school. The university said the program is intended to help students build college readiness and earn progress toward a degree before graduating; it did not provide course schedules, costs or enrollment details in the announcement.
The university announcement was published Oct. 14 and identifies Murray State’s Racer Academy page as a source of further information. It also lists msu.admissions@murraystate.edu and 800-272-4678 as contact details.
